With over 20 years experience advising on international business and financial transactions, I provide my clients the highest level of professional
expertise while offering the personalized commitment and cost advantages of independent counsel.
Based in Paris since 1994, with prior experience in New York, São Paulo and Hong Kong, I have acted as counsel to a broad range of clients, from
global corporate and financial groups to small and medium-size companies, technology start-ups and wealthy individuals. A specialist in U.S.
securities law, I advise both corporate issuers and underwriting banks on international securities offerings, financial communications and compliance
with SEC and US stock market regulations. For my clients undertaking projects in the United States or with U.S. counterparties, I bring the strengths
of a U.S.-trained lawyer (JD from Columbia Law School) with the experience of a senior attorney at prestigious U.S. law firms. Finally, I have
supported a variety of strategic cross-border transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and commercial and
co-development agreements, and assist my clients on international transactions generally, even when there is no U.S. connection.
To ensure that my clients have access to whatever legal expertise they may need anywhere in the world, I also participate in highly selective
international legal networks. I am a member of the professional associations created by former colleagues at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton (New
York), Shearman & Sterling (Paris), and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (Paris and London), and I have recently joined Brandi Partners, which
groups together lawyers spanning a broad range of substantive specialties in Brazil, Europe, and emerging markets.
If you are seeking to raise new capital for your business, planning a project in the United States, or undertaking an international transaction where
the support of an experienced US business lawyer would strengthen your team, please feel free to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.
